The William Sears Great North Woods Bahá'í School is one of 34 regional Bahá'í
Schools in the United States. It is a summer school usually held the second or
third week in August at Camp Onomia in Onamia Minnesota. Camp Onomia,
surrounded by 10,000 acres of wilderness and lakes, is located near the south end
of Lake Mille Lacs, on Lake Shakopee, approximately 1.5 to 2 hours north of the
Twin Cities, MN. We have a well balanced program of adult and youth speakers,
youth and childrens classes, afternoon workshops and recreational activities.
Saturday evening is celebrated with an outdoor barbeque cook-out, followed by
entertaining presentations and a dance. The Bahá'í bookstore and coffee
shop are also available throughout the week.
